Safety Item for All Shoda Machines

“On the majority of Shoda Routers, the Z axis is held up by a lock pin during shut down and removal of power and air from the machine. Unfortunately human error and mechanical failure occur more often than not. The most frequent failure with the Z axis is caused by leaving the machine powered on with no E stop set; somebody turns off the air compressor and or the air system fails and the Z axis crashes to the table causing damage to the motors, Z axis and or Z axis servo motor. TSG has come up with a fix that has already saved one company an expensive repair bill during a catastrophic air system failure.”
